"Relationships"

Relationships can be found when any two people interact with one another.  This place setting represents the relationships between any two people; it can be best friends, family members, lovers, classmates, comrades, or acquaintances.  Relationships can be fragile, it takes work to build into them, time and effort to sustain them, and yet they can be so easy to shatter, much like glass.  Some people are easy to see through; like clear glass, their talents and flaws are laid out for the whole world to see.  Others, however, are more clouded, and it takes a closer look to discover their wonder and beauty.

The idea of this project is for the viewer to place themselves in one of the place settings, place any other person in the other setting, and reflect upon how we as humans interact with each other.  Also, reflect upon what it takes to maintain these relationships, sometimes it takes work.  This allows the viewer to question themselves, are they doing what it takes to keep the glass from shattering?
